QUONTIC BANK ADDS FEE-FREE ATMS THROUGH NYCE’S SURCHARGE-FREE PROGRAM

The New York-based financial institution adds an additional some 7,000 ATMs with the SUM network.

NEW YORK-Quontic Bank now offers its customers access to an additional 7,000 surcharge-free SUM® ATMs as part of a new partnership with the NYCE® Payments Network.

SUM ATMs are conveniently found within Quontic Bank's branch footprint, as well as across the United States, including locations in the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. In the New York City metropolitan area, SUM ATMs are conveniently located at McDonalds®.

“When we founded Quontic Bank, we wanted to create a Member FDIC bank that has as few fees as possible, including and especially ATM fees,” said Steven Schnall, chairman and CEO of Quontic Bank. “That's why we're happy to grow our surcharge-free ATM offerings through SUM.”

Quontic Bank customers already have surcharge-free access to any Citibank® branch ATM in the U.S., as well as at Allpoint® Network and MoneyPass Network surcharge-free ATMs for a total of more than 90,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide. The addition of NYCE and its SUM surcharge-free ATMs gives Quontic Bank customers even more convenience.

“ATMs offer extraordinary convenience, providing anytime access to cash in the smallest towns and the largest cities,” said Bob Woodbury, senior vice president and general manager of NYCE Payments Network. “We welcome Quontic Bank to NYCE, and are pleased Quontic Bank chose to join SUM to offer its customers surcharge-free access at thousands of SUM ATMs around the country.”

Quontic Bank customers can easily find SUM surcharge-free ATMs using its online locator at www.sum-atm.com. The SUM Mobile ATM Locator app is also free to download for Apple and Google smartphones, allowing users to search for SUM surcharge-free ATMs by entering an address or ZIP code or using your current location.
